ABOUT PPO
Phantom Planet Online was an idea I threw around in my head since around the time Phantom Planet was
opening for Maroon 5 in 2007. At the time, the band's official site was never updated and for awhile,
their official 'site' was their myspace. I thought the band deserved better. Though I didn't know how I was going to achieve it, sometime
in early 2008 I bought the domain. I asked Naquita, who owns a few of the sites I frequent, if she'd
design the site for me since I didn't know how and luckily she was down and designed it. Then there were problems
with the hosting site which forced me to actually shut down the site before it was even up. A few months later,
I got a new host that was completely compatible with what I wanted to do, and since by this time the boys had
done new photo shoots, Naquita agreed to re-design the site. Finally on June 12, 2008 the site launched and
was up online. The rest is interwebz history I guess.
